We are a family farm and homestead dedicated to real food- all natural, non-GMO, heirloom, locally grown clean produce, and grass finished meat. Our plants are grown in soil that is alive with micro-organisms which nourish and feed the plants that are grown in it. We have been growing heirloom, non-gmo produce for over 9 years. 2016 marked the opening of our CSA. We are passionate about growing healthy, non-GMO, chemical-free, heirloom food for our family (we produce 75-80% of our food on the Homestead) and community. Sharing with the people around us about GMOs and the importance of eating clean. Give us a call and head on out for a farm tour and visit.
Helping Others Grow Their Perfect Garden
Yes, we are a CSA and grow produce for many people. However, we are equally passionate about helping others to establish and maintain their own garden. If you are interested at all in growing your own food or keeping a garden of any size, we say GO FOR IT! We are here to help you be successful in your efforts every step of the way. You can find practical gardening advice on the blog, free gardening guides and printables here, and a complete and an easy to follow guide to gardening in my book "Everything You Need to Know to Start Your Garden." We also offer Consulting Services where we help you with the design and set-up of your garden. You are always free to contact us directly with any questions you may have. We would love to hear from you!
We are excited to be the first CSA farm in west central North Dakota. We are located just north of Beach North Dakota. From our house we can see Montana. Actually Montana is right on the other side of our fence. We feel extremely blessed to be in this beautiful little spot down by the creek. It has provided us much land to grow and raise our own food and now start a CSA farm. No longer will residents in Beach and the surrounding areas have to travel to Bismarck or Billings to find produce that is grown without any chemicals. I think you will be quite pleased with the selection of all-natural, heirloom, non-gmo produce we have to offer. We love to grow new things so, if you have a suggestion, please let us know.
Although North Dakota has a short growing season, we plan to get the most out of it. Several years ago we built a greenhouse where we now start our plants and use it to extend our growing season starting early in spring and going into late fall. The springs are filled with plant starts and fresh greens. Summer includes heat loving plants like tomatoes, peppers and eggplant, and fall brings us back to greens and cabbage. Clean produce that you can feel good about giving to your family.
Rolling Hills Farm and Homestead Mission Statement
It is our mission to raise completely non-GMO, wholesome and nutritious food. We DO NOT use any pesticides, herbicides, chemicals fertilizers, or Bt spray. Our animals are afforded the same completely non-GMO, wholesome and nutritious food. We believe that food should be clean from the seed, to the soil, to the plant, to the table; and from the feed, to the animal, to the grill. Eating clean is our gift to you. Food The Way God Intended It.
Like What You See?
Like What You See? Become a member of our CSA (community supported agriculture). During the growing season you will receive a basket of fresh picked organically raised produce. You pick them up at the designated location or come out to the farm. Your first box will come at the beginning of July and run through September/October depending on the weather. It is about 10 weeks. Each week you can add fresh eggs and grass finished meat (beef or lamb) to your baskets. By becoming a member of the Rolling Hills Farm CSA you are getting the freshest food possible, supporting the local food movement as well as protecting your family from GMOs and the harmful chemicals found in pesticides and herbicides that are routinely sprayed on conventionally grown produce.
You don't have to be a member of our CSA to enjoy the bounty of Rolling Hills Farm. Call us today to set up a tour and grab some fresh produce while you're here! You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram, Pintrest, and YouTube. And don't forget to sign up for our mailing list. Thanks for stopping by!
